Martial law (definition): Military government, involving the suspension of ordinary law.

Emergency (definition): a serious, unexpected, and often dangerous situation requiring immediate action.

What is the likelihood that the American people will soon experience the governance of martial law?

Extremely high, in my view.

What will be the trigger?

Anti-Semitism.

How will it unfold?

Emergency ⇆ Martial law

Martial law is always triggered by an emergency: a sudden, usually an existentially threatening event or situation requiring immediate action that involves the suspension of regular legal procedures with their constitutional safeguards of protection for citizens.

Martial law and emergencies display a bidirectional causality of mutual reinforcement. Emergencies are what give rise to martial law, and those who invoke martial law emotionally stoke the emergencies, making them even more threatening and conducive to expanding the reach of their powers, including the arbitrary power to punish those who engage in forms of dissent that are, normally, legally protected.

The COVID epidemic of 2020-22 was a test run of martial law that encountered surprisingly little resistance from the citizenry. State governors assumed quasi-military authority and banned that most basic of constitutionally protected freedoms, the freedom of association. Diktats were extended to the full range of normal human activity, shutting down businesses, schools, churches, and recreational facilities. Mandatory vaccination was backed by threat of loss of employment and denial of access to education and social services. Skeptics and dissenters were branded as enemies of public health.

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer was perhaps the most egregious in overreach. Because of the danger of catching the flu, Michigan citizens lived for months under the rule of a martial law Governor who threatened them with fines and criminal prosecution for engaging in the most normal forms of human activity and association:

Whitmer extended the state’s stay-at-home order, while adding several restrictions that weren’t in the original order. For instance, the new order, which will be in effect until April 30, prohibits people from traveling between residences they may own. Also, it imposes stricter rules stores must follow to reduce foot traffic, including limiting how many people are in a store at a time, adding six-foot markers on the ground where customers will wait to enter and closing areas of the store that are dedicated to carpeting, flooring, furniture, garden centers, plant nurseries, and paint . . . [T]he new one limits gatherings and requires all workers who are not necessary to sustain or protect life to stay home. Both businesses and people who violate the order, which intends to promote social distancing during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, are subject to penalties. If you violate orders related to the outbreak, you could receive a civil fine up to $1,000. Criminal penalties also remain an option that prosecutors could choose.

COVID was the public health emergency during which millions of businesses were destroyed by lockdowns, a massive transfer of wealth was made to favored partners of the ruling class, and the 2020 presidential election was rigged via vote-from-home procedures in order to expel the incumbent interloper who was hated by the uniparty.

The grip has been relaxed, but our current government is highly unpopular. President Biden’s approval rating is at 37%; the U.S. Congress’ is at 82% disapproval. Unpopular governments go in search of emergencies to distract the citizenry from their corruption and incompetence and as pretexts for usurping extra-constitutional powers in order to shut down political rivals and to crush dissent.

An emergency here is in the making thanks to a combination of two highly unfortunate circumstances, both of which have been created by our corrupt ruling class.

The first is the virtual ownership and control of American foreign policy by Jewish money that is funneled through the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) to the United States Congress. “Keeping Israel safe and America strong” is how the banner read reads on the AIPAC website. What causal relationship exists between Israel’s safety and America’s strength is a fascinating topic for discussion that, unfortunately, lies outside the Overton window. To be more truthful, the banner should read: “Keeping Israel safe with the Jewish purchase of American politicians.” John J. Mearsheimer and Stephen M. Walt have laid out that causal connection in copious detail in their book, The Israel Lobby and US Foreign Policy.

As Mearsheimer discovered personally, anyone who flirts with the notion that Israel’s safety should not be the American government’s highest priority will be marked by the DC establishment as an anti-Semite.

The second is that for decades our southern border has been wide open to a flood of illegal aliens. Millions of them have been coming since Biden took office, bureaucratically assisted by government-funded non-governmental organizations and financially supported by American tax dollars. This means that there are a lot of people here who we know nothing about, some of whom are not likely future American patriots.

Thanks to 75 years of cleansing those regions of the Levant that it has occupied of their original Arab inhabitants, and now threatening to finish off two million Palestinians in Gaza, Israel finds itself in an existential crisis. Much of the world is condemning the Zionist state, but because the Israeli tail wags the American dog in terms of foreign policy, Israel’s existential crisis has become our crisis. Even more of our money will soon be on its way. Our Navy is already in the eastern Mediterranean, sitting targets for hypersonic missiles. Our military advisors are lending support to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Our President and Secretary of State have returned home after going to kiss the Benjamin Netanyahu’s ring. And if the region goes up in flames, our economy will crash.

Hamas “terrorism” is said to threaten Israel’s existence, which is its justification for the current ethnic cleansing of Gaza’s civilian population in broad daylight, with cameras capturing the “chosen people” doing what Yahweh instructs:

And when the Lord your God gives them over to you, and you defeat them, then you must devote them to complete destruction. You shall make no covenant with them and show no mercy to them. — Deuteronomy 7:2

This sort of explains why the Camp David and Oslo accords turned out to be signature events of Israel negotiating in bad faith.

Israel also claims that anti-Semitism is Hamas’ driving force. It allegedly sparked the October 7 “Pearl Harbor” that caught the IDF off guard and resulted in unprecedented Israeli civilian and military casualties. Anti-Semitism — never Jewish bad behavior — explains why Jews are always victims in their conflicts with non-Jews. Judaism, you might say, strives to be a religion of perpetual victimhood, its central tenet the numinous presence of “the Holocaust,” with its critics and detractors always being assigned the role of the SS (Schutzstaffel).

Israel’s-crisis-is-our-crisis means that “anti-Semitism” is on its way to being viewed as an existential threat to “our democracy,” which also means that “anti-Semites” will soon be regarded as criminals. “Conservative” National Review columnist Andrew McCarty called on Twitter/X for the FBI to go after pro-Palestinian protestors:

This unabashed, virulent antisemitism is unacceptable in the United States. DOJ and FBI must start J6-style scorched earth probe, get all the video, and aggressively prosecute blatant civil rights crimes. Not enough to express regret. Indict.

Got that? “J6-style scorched earth probe” à la Jewish Merrick Garland’s Department of Justice. Critics of Israel are to get the same Stasi treatment as the MAGA guys who were led into the Capitol building by the Capitol police. With the exception of a few Left-wing Democrats, the uniparty is on board with siccing the police on critics of Israel as “hate” criminals.

So when Israel really goes into full Deuteronomy mode in Gaza, expect Hamas and affiliated militants to launch attacks on American targets across the world and, most likely, right here in our homeland. Israel takes great pains to keep their enemies out; we invite them in and give them cell phones and debit cards. One or two spectacles of anti-Semitic terrorism on American soil in a suburban crowd or a big city gathering, replayed 24/7 on CNN, will be the trigger for the declaration of a “terrorist emergency” necessitating martial law to protect the American people.

Garland and his fellow Jew, Homeland Security chief Alejandro Mayorkas, have already affirmed “that white supremacy stands out among domestic terrorist organizations as a burgeoning threat.” Far Right, white supremacist “terrorists” are all certified anti-Semites. In Garland and Mayorkas’ minds, that “burgeoning threat” joining with Left-wing Muslim anti-Semites to attack shopping malls or football stadiums will create the kind of emergency that justifies the suspension of many constitutional protections which we saw effaced during the COVID pandemic — but worse. Look for mass arrests, suspension of habeas corpus, seizure of financial assets, and show trials. The 2024 presidential election will likely either be “postponed” or a complete “mail-in” farce, with the winner pre-selected by the Poohbahs of the uniparty such as the Obamas and the Lindsey Grahams.

Another scenario is yet another US military debacle in the Middle East that dwarfs the incompetence and corruption of Afghanistan, perhaps collapsing the regime. Following this would be a military takeover and martial law.

Then again, perhaps the Israel-American alliance will prevail, 2024 will unfold for the US in a normal, peaceful manner, with a presidential election that gives the American people full confidence that the ruling class is acting in their best interest.
